This brownfield site is part of the former railway station in Buckingham, lying in an established residential neighbourhood less than half a mile from the town centre. Part of the site is within the Buckingham Conservation Area.
The scheme seeks to deliver a highly sustainable development which is designed to enhance the relationship between the site and the surrounding areas, re-using previously developed land in an efficient and sustainable way to give a housing mix to meet local need. The topography of the site was a key consideration in the design, leading to a stepped approach to limit the overall height and impact of the scheme.
The development provides five detached and two semi-detached family homes of a traditional design, set within a gated community. Each home has been designed to an exceptionally high specification.
