A Reserved Matters Application was submitted to East Herts Council for the residential development of 24 new homes in Puckeridge on behalf of Mears New Homes Ltd. Planning consent was granted in November 2016.

Puckeridge is a hamlet in East Hertfordshire with a population of approximately 3,561 people.

The scheme includes 40% of the new homes as affordable, with a mix of detached and semi-detached properties, which will go some way to addressing local housing needs in the area.

The formal character of the village High Street has been adopted with simple detailing that reflects the surrounding properties. The materials palette corresponds to the local area, using a mix of brickwork, render and timber cladding, adding interest to the street scene.

The scheme has been carefully considered with regard to the landscaping and the inclusion of a public open space will benefit new and existing residents.
