Working with David Wilson Homes, DCa has designed the new Commercial Centre, the Community Hall and the Pavilion for the large west of Bedford development in Great Denham.  The development will provide approximately 1500 new homes, with further expansion in Kempston to the south.

The Commercial Centre on Roman Gate is a mixed use residential and commercial building, providing six luxury apartments on the first floor and six commercial units on the ground floor.

The Community Hall incorporates library and office space on the first floor, with sports and leisure areas, changing rooms, meeting and anciliary spaces on the ground floor.  Both buildings are now complete.

Work has yet to start on the Pavilion, which will deliver leisure and community spaces, including a café, park ranger’s station and changing facilities on the ground floor and accommodation for the ranger on the first floor.
